Frequently Asked Questions
1. I have private insurance, how do I know what I am covered for?
 To find out what you are covered for please contact your private insurance directly. Ask specifically if you are covered for in home nursing foot care. 
2. How do I know what type of services I need?
Generally upon consultation, I will be able to determine your foot care needs. 
3. How often do I require foot care?
Diabetic clients require footcare every 28 days to ensure feet stay healthy 
Non-diabetic clients require foot care 6-8 weeks or as needed.
4. What towns do you provide services to?
I currently am serving Windsor/Essex County *travel fees may be added 
5. What can I expect at a footcare visit?
I am a mobile nurse, I come to you. I will need adequete space and light to provide services. I bring all my own tools and equipment, the first visit there will be health screeing, paperwork, diabetic screening and COVID screening.
5. Does OHIP cover foot care services?
No, unfortunately since 1990 OHIP no longer covers foot care services.
